Deposits
A 50% deposit is required to book studio time. The remaining balance is due in full the day of session – no exceptions. A 3% credit card fee will be applied to all credit and debit card payments. All payments are final and non-refundable.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
If a client needs to reschedule a session, please notify the studio 24 hours in advance. If you notify the studio representative/booking engineer to reschedule in LESS than 24 hours, the initial 50% deposit is forfeited. This action is required to prevent the loss of re-booking the studio & engineer to another client. If you need to cancel your studio time completely, the 50% deposit is non-refundable – (no exceptions). All payments are final and non-refundable.
Session Files
Your engineer will provide an mp3 or wav file of your music during your session upon request. If you would like your raw session files (the ProTools session) as well, please bring a hard drive or other storage media, the day of your session so the engineer can provide them for you within your scheduled time. Session file(s) will be retained by the studio for no longer than 3 months after completion of the session.
Edits & Mix Revisions
For this reason, if you want edits or mix revisions of any kind after your session, there is a minimum charge of Twenty-five dollars ($25) for anything under 30 minutes’ worth of work. Normal hourly rates apply for anything over 30 minutes’ worth of work. This policy excludes mix packages and bundles which will be specified upon booking.

- How much does it cost to record at Summit Audio Recordings?
- $65 per hour with a 2-hour minimum, engineer included. A 50% deposit holds the time and the balance is due on the day of the session. Card payments carry a 3% fee.
- How do I book a session?

- Where is the studio?
- 11100 66th St N, Suite 20, Largo, FL 33773, in Pinellas County on Florida's Gulf Coast. Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Tampa are all a short drive.
- Can I reschedule or cancel?
- Give the studio at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule. With less than 24 hours' notice, or on a full cancellation, the 50% deposit is forfeited. All payments are final.
- Do I get my files after the session?
- Yes. Your engineer provides an MP3 or WAV during the session on request. Bring a hard drive if you also want the raw Pro Tools session. The studio keeps session files for no longer than 3 months. Edits or mix revisions after the session start at $25 for anything under 30 minutes of work, then the normal hourly rate.

- ModdOnTheMix, an audio engineer & music producer with 7 years of experience across studios in Tampa Bay, Miami, Portland, Atlanta, New York. Credits include Sada Baby, Yung Bleu, Famous Dex, Icewear Vezzo, iHeartMemphis, Coco Bliss, Mia Martina.
- What microphones and gear does the studio have?
- Soyuz 017 FET, Soyuz 017 TUBE V2, Telefunken TF47, Telefunken TF51, Manley Reference Gold, Townsend Labs Sphere L22, Royer R-10, through Neve, API, Shadow Hills, BAE and Avalon preamps into Universal Audio Apollo converters, with a full rack of analog compressors and EQs (1176, LA-2A, Distressor, Pultec, SSL, Manley Massive Passive) and Pro Tools Ultimate. - Can I see the studio before booking?

- Does the studio do mixing and mastering on songs recorded elsewhere?
- Yes. Mixing, hybrid analog and in-the-box, and mastering are offered on their own as well as for songs tracked at Summit. Send references and a timeline through the contact page for a quote.
